EL DOLOR DE LAS COSAS IMPORTANTES.


Un amigo egipcio, cercano a mi corazón, fue arrestado días pasados en una manifestación en contra del golpe del estado, en El Cairo. Ayer fue puesto en libertad con múltiples heridas: un brazo quebrado y marcas eternas en el corazón y el alma, después de ser torturado brutalmente.

Cuando me entero de estas cosas, recuerdo los dichos que tantas veces oigo a mi alrededor, frases que leo en las redes sociales, conversaciones alusivas a la existencia de dos mundos como si la humanidad hubiera perdido su unicidad y el dolor ajeno tuviera pegado el color de las banderas o los credos, o la distancia geográfica y cultural hiciera a unas personas impasibles del dolor del otro. Siento las críticas sobre nuestras preocupaciones por los sucesos de medio oriente, minimizando el dolor de otros pueblos como si nuestros problemas fueran únicos, y más significativos. Cierto es que tenemos y hemos tenido problemas, y que se han ido resolviendo, que pasamos tiempos de profundo dolor, por los que abogamos que no regresen NUNCA MÁS.

Por ello, a todos los que creen que el mundo es aquí y allá, les cuento de mi preocupación: a mí, me preocupa todo, todo el mundo, toda la humanidad. Y les pregunto: ¿ Cuáles son los límites del corazón humano, y los de la razón? ¿Hasta dónde abarca la empatía, la solidaridad, el amor fraterno? ¿Saben del amor incondicional? ¿Conocen y practican alguno de estos sentimientos, o solo son palabras lejanas para ustedes? Más allá del diccionario, busquen en su corazón.

A mí, me preocupa todo. El dolor de las cosas importantes trasciende fronteras, razas, credos, incluso el pensamiento y las ideas, circunstancias que hacen al humano y sus causas, pero las injusticias serán siempre injusticias sin importar el dolor o las circunstancias.

El mundo es uno, la humanidad una sola, una especie que necesita reencontrarse consigo misma para que NUNCA MÁS, en ninguna parte del globo sucedan dictaduras e injusticias generadoras de dolor. Esperanza y Paz para este mundo. Que así sea.

PAIN OF IMPORTANT THINGS .

An Egyptian friend , close to my heart , was arrested days in a demonstration against the coup d'etat in Cairo . Yesterday was released with multiple injuries : a broken arm and brands eternal in the heart and soul , after being brutally tortured .

When I hear of these things , I remember the sayings so often hear around me, quotes I read on social media , conversations allude to the existence of two worlds as if humanity had lost its uniqueness and the pain of others had stuck the color of the flags or creeds , or the geographic and cultural distance do some people pain unmoved other. I feel the criticism about our concerns about Middle Eastern events , minimizing the pain of other people as if our problems were unique and significant . It is true that we have and have had problems , and they have been resolved , we spent time deep pain , for which we advocate that NEVER return .

Therefore, all those who believe that the world is here and there , I tell them my concern : to me , I worry about everything all the world , all of humanity . And I ask : What are the limits of the human heart and of reason? How far includes empathy, sympathy , brotherly love ? Do you know of unconditional love ? You know and practice any of these feelings , or just words far for you ? Beyond the dictionary, search your heart .

To me , I worry about everything. The pain of the important things transcends borders , races, creeds , even the thought and ideas that make the human circumstances and causes, but will always be injustice injustice regardless of the pain or circumstances.


The world is one only humanity , a species that needs to rediscover herself NEVER , in any part of the globe and injustices happen dictatorships generating pain. Hope and Peace for this world. So be it .
